PLEASE COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS RETAKES!
School Start Times - Drop Off Update
If you choose to drop your child off at school, please aim to have him/her here between 7:25-7:30. Doors unlock at 7:25am and students can go directly to their classrooms once the doors open. This allows students the time they need to hang their coats & backpacks, say hello to their teachers & classmates, get their materials ready for the day, and get started with their morning routines. Students can also grab breakfast during this time window. When the final bell rings at 7:40, teachers take attendance for the day, submit their lunch counts to food service, and begin their morning meetings. Late arrival causes students to miss important parts of their routine and can create an anxious start to their day. We appreciate your partnership in helping your child get a positive start to their day!
When unique circumstances arise such as a morning appointment or other situation causing late arrival, students can enter through door #1 and check-in at the front office for a pass to class. The front office staff will update the student’s attendance and get the student’s lunch choice reported to food service.
Infinite Campus Portal Annual Update
Please take a few minutes and complete the Annual Update that can be found on the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus.
The Annual Update can be found be selecting the three bars in the upper left corner, selecting More, and Annual Update is on the bottom of the page.
You will go through all of the information that is currently in our system. This includes parent information, emergency contacts, and student information. Many of the questions will not need updating (home language, internet use, etc) however you will need to complete each section, making any necessary updates, to reach the end.
The system will send you an email confirmation when you have completed the Annual Update.
Meadowview Minute
Meadowview Parent Teacher Partnership NEWS
For many years, the Meadowview PTP has provided a meal for our teachers during the fall and spring conferences as a way to show our support. This fall, we’re providing smoked pulled pork and chicken sandwiches. Please click on the links below to donate towards this cause. Thank you!!

The Tiger Trot will be here before you know it! It is MVES’ largest fundraiser of the year, and is replacing APEX. We are thrilled to keep 100% of the money raised instead of paying a sizable percentage to a third party (APEX). Save the date, October 16, to come cheer on your student! More info to come!

Online Attendance Form
Is your student ill? Do they have an appointment and will be late to school? Planning a vacation? All of these situations and more can now be reported to the Meadowivew Office through our online attendance form! Head over to the Meadowview Home Page and on the left hand side find the Student Absence Form in the Quick Links.
Attendance Tip!
Getting to school on time is just as important as being at school. Research shows that continued tardiness leads to poor attendance. Many of the most important parts of a student's day happen within the first 15 minutes. This is often when they have a time to socialize with their peers, orient themselves for the day, take care of necessary business, and connect with their teacher before the day starts. Never underestimate the power of the first 15 minutes of school!
End of Day Routine
Please make sure your child's teacher has an accurate, up-to-date plan for your child's dismissal at the end of the day.
When changes are needed, please communicate those changes with your child's teacher prior to the start of the school day. We cannot always guarantee teachers will see emails during the work day (as it depends on the activities they have planned with the students).
For EMERGENCY CHANGES, please communicate with the teacher and call the front office no later than 2pm. Changes to end of day routines are difficult for students and teachers. If at all possible please change YOUR routine instead of your students routine.
