UTVA Hazlett Family~ Living on the road, an unconventional lifestyle…

Our family of four is in a unique position, we are taking a mid-life sabbatical from our “normal” day-to-day routine to tour the United States and Canada for one year. Our goal with an extended road trip is to learn and grow stronger as individuals and as a family. We are meeting people with diverse backgrounds, seeing unfamiliar places, experiencing things that are out of our comfort zone and most importantly, taking time to make memories, together, as a family. Our motto is “create what you want or deal with what you’ve got”.


Hannah will be starting 8th grade at UTVA. She loves to dance, bake and explore everything possible. She is our “curious cat”. Zoe will be in 3rd grade with UTVA, she is extremely outgoing, loves gymnastics, soccer and spending time with friends.

UTVA was recommended to us by a friend who had a positive experience. We had researched other options and felt that UTVA best met our needs as we juggle life on the road.
