It was another great week at Sanborn this week, filled with lots of fun and exciting new opportunities for learning. Students finished up MAP testing and benchmark assessments. Scores will be available for parents in October so be on the lookout for this information from your teacher.

Students participated in a "Hold" drill this week and did a wonderful job with this. As a reminder, we will be practicing our Fire Drill on Wednesday September 25th at 9:00 with the Palatine Fire Department.

This Thursday September 26 is an Institute Half Day for all students. Students will be released at 11:25 am. Teachers and staff will engage in professional development in the afternoon.

Save the Date: Picture Day is coming up on October 3rd

If you will be changing your procedure for dismissal (ex: car rider instead of bus), please notify the office at least 30 minutes before dismissal. The office is very busy at the end of the day and we want to ensure that all students are sent to the correct location so they can safely and quickly exit the building and get to their destination. In order to do this, we need all staff to be aware of where students are going before 2:30 pm Monday-Thursday and 1:45 on Friday. After that time you will be unable to make changes to transportation. We ask for your help in following this system so that we can keep all students safe.
