Our Home School Community Liaison Teacher, Ms Holohan, has been working on something very exciting! Thanks to Ms Holohan, our school has been chosen by Google for a volunteer project that will see 200 Google staff members come to the school in July to do some transformative work on our building, inside and out! We are very excited to see the end results!

School tour season is here! Our junior pupils will be going to ShipShape Play Centre, and our senior pupils will be travelling to Meath to spend the day at The Crystal Maze Activity Centre. The junior and senior tours will take place on different days. Your child's teacher will send you all of the relevant details. Please reach out to the office if you have any questions about the tour. A huge thank you to the Parents' Association who helped us with the cost of the bus for the senior school tour.

This year's sports day will take place on June 13th. Parents are welcome to come to watch the fun from 11am - 12 noon on the day. We are keeping our fingers crossed for some good weather this year!

School reports will be issued on the Aladdin app shortly. Please ensure that you have the app on your phone or computer to enable you to view your child's report. Standardised test results will be issued on your child's report. Please remember, these are only one measure of your child's achievement during the school year, and your child's teacher is the person best placed to advise you as to how they are doing with their schoolwork overall. Please also be cognisant that school reports are written for you as the parent rather than for your child. Children can find it quite upsetting if they feel they haven't done as well as they had hoped, and it may be wise not to share this information with your son/daughter. Please use your best judgement on this.

June 10th: Junior School tour (Junior Infants - 2nd Class, normal school hours apply)

June 12th: School ends at 1.10pm for all pupils to facilitate staff training.

June 13th: Sports Day (normal school hours apply. Parents are welcome from 11am - 12 noon).

June 19th: 6th Class graduation service at 11am. Refreshments will be served in the school afterward.

June 24th: Sponsored Walk

June 24th - June 28th: Active Week

June 27th: Senior tour (3rd - 6th Class, returning to the school for 3pm)

June 28th: Last day of the school year. The school day ends at 12 noon for all pupils.
