MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
CHS Families and Students,
What a SPIRITED homecoming week it has been! The participation during spirit week was exceptional, and I’ll admit, I initially thought high school students might be too old for it, but they’ve certainly proved me wrong. I’m looking forward to the big showdown tonight and, of course, the homecoming dance tomorrow.
My hope is that EVERYONE enjoys this weekend’s events. My role during the football game and the dance is to support our students, not to issue consequences. Let's make it a memorable and safe weekend for all.
TOPPER DOGS
We had a fantastic start to our Friday as the two captains of the Chardon Crazies, Stone Fawcett and Ava McDevitt, served up around 250 "Topper Dogs" to students. While some were excited for a 7:00 AM hot dog, others were left wondering if hot dogs qualify as breakfast food! Either way, the spirit and energy in the building were high, and it was a fun way to kick off the day.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
NORMAL FIVE DAY WEEK
Enjoy your weekend.
~ Mr. Tomco
HOMECOMING 2024
2024 HOMECOMING COURT:
I would like to recognize the incredible maturity and support our Homecoming Court displayed throughout the week. We have ten wonderful students on the court, and it’s easy to see why their senior peers chose them. Voting for King and Queen has officially ended, and the results will be announced before tonight's football game.
I would also like to recognize our STUDENT COUNCIL members, who for MONTHS have been planning this event. This truly was a STUDENT lead event.
I've attached their court videos, and I must say, the creativity and humor is next level!
Kolcum and Talty
Fawcett and Meyer
Courie and Silk
Drotleff and Deszczykiewicz
Goodwin and Guerrero
HOMECOMING DANCE
The Homecoming dance is almost here—tomorrow, Saturday, September 21! Please remember that ALL STUDENTS must have a ticket and identification to enter the dance. If you DO NOT have a SCHOOL or STATE ID, we will verify your identity using the Infinite Campus photos. NO TICKETS will be sold at the door, and guests without a ticket will be turned away. Let’s make it a fun and safe evening!
