As we approach the Thanksgiving break, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for the wonderful students, families, and staff who make our school community so special. This season reminds us of the importance of kindness, togetherness, and the joy of learning from one another every day.

We wish you a restful and joyful Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and plenty of delicious treats! Enjoy this time to connect with family and friends, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back ready to continue our journey of growth and discovery on Monday, December 2nd.

Sign up for a time slot to volunteer and you can get 10 FREE TICKETS for your family! Don't have time or the ability to volunteer but still want to help? We need donations of cakes and other baked goods for the cake walk! This fundraiser helps the PTCO pay for training for teachers, seating, headphones, and other things that help make our school a better place to learn! Help us support our teachers and our students!! Did you know you could help someone in need stay warm this holiday season? There's an easy way to contribute! The EHS Student Council has launched its Coats for Colorado Donation Drive.

Donate a new or slightly used coat to any of the drop boxes that are currently set up at Elizabeth High School, Elizabeth Middle School, Running Creek Elementary School and Legacy Academy.

The drive ends on November 20th, so if you are interested, be sure to drop off your coat soon!

The Elizabeth Education Foundation has an ongoing fundraiser with American Furniture Warehouse in which they donate to EEF (to support Elizabeth Schools) when purchasers mention EEF or Elizabeth Schools. At the end of each calendar year, they have a "RALLY" period, for a year-end push to maximize the year's donations to EEF. This year's RALLY is from December 6 - 15th. Purchasers during this time frame are entered into a dressing for an AFW $500 gift card, in addition to increasing donations to EEF!

RCE has adopted The “I Love U Guys” Foundation’s Standard Response Protocol (SRP). Students and staff will be training, practicing, and drilling the protocol. We will be practicing one evacuation (fire) drill each month, one lockdown drill each semester, and one secure drill and one shelter (tornado) drill.
