Message from the Principal
Welcome back, Bearcats!
We are here to create learning partnerships with students and parents. It's spring, and you know what that means - STAAR. Lamar has a C rating, but we want that B. What does it take to get there?
- Students must be present every day.
- Students must use the resources like iReady math and reading at home and at school.
- Students must have keep their behavior in check so that they do not miss class due to ISS, OSS, or DAEP placements.
So what do we need from parents meet our goal?
- Make sure your student attends school every day.
- Set aside time for your student to work in iReady math and/or reading, or Mathia for Algebra students.
- Be positive and highly encouraging!
Please see the staff directory on the Lamar website to email any of your students' teachers. Conduct a weekly check of your child's grades in Skyward and Schoology. Click here to see a video on how you can check your student's progress on different platforms. Thank you for choosing Lamar.
