🍎Principal's Message
Greetings Washington Families,
It’s a short week, but it’s sure to be a great one! As we head into Thanksgiving, we are incredibly thankful for our amazing students, dedicated teachers, and supportive families who make Washington such a special community.
With holiday shopping underway, we encourage you to consider supporting our Holiday Magic program. Every year, our Washington community comes together to create holiday joy for our students and families in need. This year, the need is greater than ever, and we’re asking for your help.
Our PTA is collecting gift cards to Target, Walmart, and Amazon in $25 increments. If you are able to contribute, please sign up using the Sign Up Genius link. Gift cards can be brought directly to school or sent with students in a labeled envelope or bag to the main office, where they will be placed in the PTA Box. Our Student Support Services team will ensure they are distributed to families in need before winter break.
As a reminder, we have school today and tomorrow only! We hope you have a safe and enjoyable holiday and we look forward to seeing students back on Monday, December 2. Let's make it a great week at 1000 Fayetteville Street!
Magically,
Catie Burnette
