This week, some of our classrooms enjoyed a special story time session provided by the UA Library. We have additional dates scheduled in the coming weeks, and all classrooms will have the chance to participate.

Are you interested in helping out in your child’s classroom? The PTO is looking for Room Parents to organize 3 parties throughout the school year, coordinate a classroom supply drive, and collaborate with teachers to support classroom needs. If you’d like to volunteer, please contact Kellie Onifer at OniferK2139@gmail.com with your child's class and teacher's name!

T-shirts tied to PTO dues will be ordered this Saturday, 9/14, so please pay your dues below and fill out the survey to get your child’s shirt!

Community Opportunity: Leeds Farm Autism Harvest Festival

We’re excited to share a fantastic community event that is free to children and adults with autism and their siblings, parents, grandparents and DSPs! The 17th Annual Leeds Farm Autism Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024. This special event offers a day of free fun at Leeds Farm, located at 8738 State Route 36, Ostrander, OH 43061.

One of our staff member’s sons is collecting gently used indoor soccer shoes to send to underprivileged children in Venezuela. If you have any pairs you’d like to donate, please drop them off in the donation box located in the lobby. The collection will run through October 4th.

Your contributions will make a big difference for kids in need!

We have a student in our intervention program who has been through a lot in his young life. At birth, he was diagnosed with infant acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), a genetic variant of childhood leukemia. In honor of him and Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, Burbank will be participating in a fundraiser next week.

We’ll have a Spirit Week, where each day your child's class will wear a specific theme and bring in a specific coin (e.g., Monday: Pennies, Tuesday: Nickels, etc.). By Friday, all money should be turned in to the office, and the class that raises the most money will win a Donut Party!
