2025-2026 Kindergarten Registration is Open!
Going to kindergarten is important for children. It helps them build upon all the learning that they have done so far. In kindergarten, children will learn skills they will build on throughout their formal education and throughout life. It is important to register early to allow FPS enough time to plan ahead for the school year to give students the best experience possible.
If your child turns 5 by July 31, 2025, they are eligible to attend school in the fall. Visit FPS kindergarten registration webpage to learn more about the registration process.

Tardies/Absences/Appointments
- Tardies: Our first bell rings at 8:10 AM. This is the time when students are allowed to go to their lockers, get a breakfast and go inside their classrooms. Students must be in their classrooms by 8:25 AM.
- Absences: If your student is going to be absent from school, the Madison Office must be notified by 9:00AM. If we do not hear from you, our office will be calling to check the whereabouts of your child....your child's safety is always our number one concern. Being on time and having good attendance is crucial for learning. When a child is habitually absent/tardy, there is a negative impact on learning.
- Early Pickup: If you need to pick up your child during the day, please come to the office to sign he/she out. The office will call your child out of his/her classroom. Due to district policy, we are unable to call your child out of the classroom before you have arrived at the school.
Please remember, if your student will be absent, the school needs to be informed by 9:00 AM.
Information Needed: Student's First & Last Name, Teacher, and reason for their absence.

Dear Parents,
Starting Monday, February 10, 2025, we will be reinstating our Early Pickup Policy at Madison. If you need to pick up your child during the school day, please come to the office to sign them out. Our office staff will then call your child out of their classroom.
Please note, due to district policy, we are unable to call your child out of the classroom until you have arrived at the school and signed them out.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the office.
Thank you,
