Students Recognized at Zion City Council Meeting
Best Effort Award
The Zion Benton Labor Day parade is an opportunity to showcase our mPOWERu team to our community. "Zinnia's on Parade" was the 2024 Labor Day parade theme. Our student leaders worked with Zion Township to symbolize the attributes shared by both our student leaders and zinnias.
Diversity, Vibrance, Growth, Positivity, and Resilience.
Our team carried painted zinnias and butterflies to represent how the future of our youth leaders are blossoming as we work together with our partner, Zion Benton Township High School National Honor Society, in our community.
On September 17th students attended the City Council meeting to be recognized and receive an award for Best Effort in presentation for Zion Benton Labor Day parade.
