End of Year Classroom and Conference Room Interactive Displays Preparation
Updates
Classroom and conference room digital displays (i.e. Promethean or Newline interactive teaching displays) will go through a software update on May 6. Campus-based Technicians may visit campuses in the following weeks to verify the update.
Storage
Classroom and conference room digital displays need to be kept in a secure environment when not in use. Display screens should not be left to face direct sunlight or near windows. Cords should be unplugged from the wall, laptop, or computer and left with the display; they can be wrapped and secured to the back of the display or cart. Remotes, keyboards, pens, or other peripherals should be kept together and labeled to go with the device. Displays on carts should be labeled with room number/location information before moving for cleaning or construction. Any permanent movement or change in location/room must be documented in the TipWeb Asset Management System.
If you have questions, please reach out to your Campus Technician.
