March 2025
Hello Project ABC Families,
Welcome to March! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful families for making February so fabulous. A special shoutout to everyone who helped make the Generations Ball such a memorable event—your contributions truly made it a night to remember. Stay tuned, as more pictures will be coming your way soon!
March is shaping up to be an exciting month! Be sure to keep an eye on your email for program updates, as we may be adding some additional playgroups to the calendar later in the month. We also want to remind you that we'll be taking a week off in early April for deep cleaning and organizing, but until then, we can’t wait to see you at playgroup!
As a reminder, our Virtual Parent Education Series continues with 30-minute sessions that provide a great opportunity to connect with like-minded caregivers. These sessions are facilitated by Sally Sweitzer and are a wonderful way to receive support on your parenting journey.
We’re so excited to see you at playgroup this month and beyond!

Miss Ashleigh Celebrates 11 years!
Miss Ashleigh is celebrating two exciting milestones this March! Not only is she celebrating her birthday, but she is also marking 11 years of dedication and service at the MetroWest YMCA. Throughout her time at the YMCA, Miss Ashleigh has loved working for an organization that serves the community in so many ways while staying true to its core values and mission.
For almost four years, Miss Ashleigh has held the role of CFCE Coordinator and Project ABC Director—her favorite role by far. She believes that it truly "takes a village" to raise resilient and empowered children, and she is proud to be a part of that village for so many families in the community. One of the things Miss Ashleigh values most is the opportunity to empower parents as their child's first teacher and offering engaging playgroups that create lasting impact.
In honor of Miss Ashleigh's 11 years of service, our team has set a special goal: to get 11 things off our Amazon wish list! We would love your help in reaching this goal. The wish list includes a variety of items that we use regularly or would like to use to enhance our playgroup and programming experience for everyone. Books and replenishable supplies are always appreciated, and we are grateful for any support you can offer to help us continue providing valuable resources to the families we serve.
Thank you for considering supporting our program and celebrating Miss Ashleigh’s amazing contributions to our community!

Parenting With Purpose
Feeling overwhelmed by parenting? You're not alone.
Raising children isn't a one-size-fits-all journey, and as caregivers, we often hear conflicting advice on the "best" practices. That's why we’re hosting our Parenting with a Purpose Zoom calls each month to provide accessible, bite-sized education on child development. These sessions are designed to empower you as your child's first and most important teacher, with practical tips, insights, and the opportunity for questions. Join other families and learn in a space designed specifically for families with young children.
Our expert, Sally Sweitzer, founder of Healing Solutions LLC, brings years of experience in supporting families and young children, ensuring a meaningful and supportive experience.
Registration required
Registration is recommended for all of our playgroups. Hopkinton Public Library requires registration through their website.
