Alberta Student Aid
Grade 12 students heading off to post secondary classes in the fall may need to apply for student loans through Alberta Student Aid. Applications usually open in June and it is recommended to apply 60 days before your classes start. Below is a link and video to familiarize yourself with the process of applying.
Rutherford Scholarship
Alexander Rutherford is a scholarship that all Alberta students planning to attend post secondary can apply for… there is no competition for up to $2500. The scholarship application opens in early August. Applications are submitted through Alberta Student Aid and students must be enrolled in full-time post secondary studies or apprenticeship programs.
