Principal's Message
We are excited to kick off the 24/25 academic year at West Middle School! This week our staff has been diligently preparing to ensure an exciting and enriching year ahead. We are committed to fostering a vibrant learning environment for all our students and staff, and we are thrilled to embark on this journey together.
As we enter the long weekend before the start of the academic year, we encourage students to begin adjusting to an earlier bedtime to establish a healthy and sustainable sleep schedule for the school year.
We are excited to welcome all our students back next week and greatly appreciate your continued support. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
With Gratitude,
Serita Mattei

Zero Day- September 3, 2024-6th Grade ONLY
September 3, 2024 is our Zero Day...6th grade students attend. It's a perfect day for our newest iddle school students to get acquainted with West Middle School. Crew leaders will lead them in un, community-building activities, they will learn how to unlock their lockers, walk their schedules, meet their teachers, and more.
Students should proceed to their Crew classrooms if they have their schedules. Those without schedules should approach a staff member at the building entrance for assistance.
First Day for 7th & 8th Grade (September 4th)
Students should go directly to their Crew classrooms if they have their schedules. If they do not, they should seek out staff at the entrance for their Crew room numbers.
Parent Drop Off and Pick Up:
If you are dropping off/picking up your student please enter and exit the parking lot on Orchard Road ONLY. The Baker Road entrance is solely used for buses and student walkers to enter and exit.
When dropping off/picking up students, be sure you drive all the way to the end of the curb at Door D for both pick up and drop off so that we can maximize the number of cars dropping off/picking up at one time.
Please drive cautiously, as scholars will be moving through the parking lot. Your careful driving helps keep everyone safe.
Student Schedules:
All student schedules are ready to be viewed in the parent portal/Infinite Campus. You can access it here: Parent Portal. Please reach out to your child’s counselor if you have any questions or concerns.
