Pre-K, Kinder, 1st, 4th and 5th Grade students can pick up their character traits lanyards in the MPR at 8:15am on Friday, May 17th. TK, 2nd, & 3rd will be distributed from class before their assembly at 1:00pm. Some teachers have opted to pass out their lanyards in class. All lanyards will be returned at the conclusion of each assembly.

Field Elementary Intent to Return
Greetings Returning PUSD Students/Families,
As we plan for the coming school year, your intent to return to our school and/or another PUSD school site is important for staffing and class configurations purposes. This form is to be completed by all Pre-K-5th grade families. The deadline is Friday, April 26th. Families that complete this first form will receive an additional link to make requests for the coming school year. Your request will be taken into consideration but our class placement criteria (see below) will ultimately be used and implemented to establish all cohorts for next school year.
Field Elementary Intent to Return
Class Placement Criteria:
1. Native Mandarin and Non-native- English-only and balance
2. An adequate gender ratio balance
3. A full range of aptitudes within each class
4. An even proportion of abilities/learning styles across the classes at each grade level
5. An equal number of pupils in each class per grade level
6. An even proportion of children with English language proficiency
Please note that individual requests have been taken into consideration but final decisions and selections of class placements reside with the school officials. All placements are on a “stay-put status” during our enrollment count period the first two to six weeks of school. No changes will be made during this time.
Field's Student Store Grand Opening
We will host a grand opening/regular hours for our student store on the following dates during lunch recess:

We had a great first day opening! If your student forgot their Eugene Bucks they can always bring it on Friday, May 17th during their recess time to visit the store. Thank you to the wonderful volunteers that helped make today a success! Pictures to coming in the Sunday message home to families!
Field's 1st Musical- Eugene's Adventure
Parents/guardians that have RSVPed for the Thursday, May 16th 6:30pm can pick up their tickets after school on Wednesday, May 15th. If you are not able to pick up your tickets we will have them at will call on the night of the performance.
Parents who will join us for one of the school day performances on Wednesday, May 15th should have received an email with instructions based on your completion of the form that was provided on Saturday, May 11th HERE

CALL TIME REMINDERS:
Wednesday, May 15th (ALL CAST & CREW) Call time of 8:15am in the MPR to prepare for the 9am performance. Student cast & crew will have an additional call time of 1:00pm during the school day to prepare for the 2:00pm performance on Wednesday.
Thursday, May 16th (ALL CAST & CREW) Call time of 5:30pm in the MPR to prepare for the 6:30pm performance for our parents/guardians.
If you child is remaining in the after school program until our call time of 5:30pm, please make sure to pack them a snack/2nd lunch because the performance will take about an hour. We will have light snacks for the students to add to any snacks and/or lunch provided.

SUMMER PROGRAMS
Field has hosted 3 Summer Academic Bootcamps since 2021. We will not host a Summer Bootcamp this summer. Both LEARNs and PEF are hosting summer programming for students this summer. Please reference the following links below for information:
