RRHS Senior Update - Week of 8/26

We will be having our next Senior Meeting on September 9, 2024, at 9:30AM in the Auditorium! Please join us for information about SchooLinks, tips about college essay writing, and a visit from Boston College. Your attendance is required, and we look forward to seeing you there! Last Call for Senior Pictures- Sept. 23 & 24

Victor O’Neill Studios, Rock Ridge’s official photographer, will be taking senior portraits at Rock Ridge on Sept. 23 & 24. This is the LAST time they will be at Rock Ridge.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be photographed for the yearbook! The required attire for the school’s yearbook pose is traditional tuxedos and drapes, which are provided by the photography company! In addition to the free yearbook session, they also offer sessions that include casual/personality portraits and cap and gown portraits.

As a friendly reminder, appointments are needed for Senior Portraits. This is the LAST round of pictures here, if you do not get your picture taken at school, you will have to arrange with Victor O’Neill for a different time, and you may not be included in the yearbook.

Senior Parents please carefully read the Transcript Waiver release when working through the “1st day information forms” online. This release allows counselors to send colleges your student’s information.

Common App is open for this year!!! Please sent up your account NOW!!!

After setting up your Common App account. Review your Schoolinks account.

From there counselors will walk students through:

• How to link your Common App and Schoolinks
• How to add colleges and make transcript request
• Please note do not make teacher letters of recommendation request through Common App. We will be using Schoolinks for letters of recommendation.

We will work with seniors through their senior meetings and send out more information on using Schoolinks.
