Thanks to everyone for all the hard work you have put into our PIE community this year. We've all been adjusting to a great deal of change and I am so grateful for everyone's patience and resilience as we find our way as a Provincial Online Learning School. To our students, parents/caregivers and staff, I hope you all thoroughly enjoy your well-deserved Spring Break! 🌷

Two PIE students, Lilia and Stella recently performed in the SD71 musical, 'Something Rotten.' Stella (Nostradamus) and Lilia (Shylock) delivered outstanding performances, and they both had a fantastic time throughout the process. Congratulations Stella and Lilia! If Comox Valley PIE high school students are interested in auditioning for next year's district musical in the fall, they can contact PIE teacher Karen Pantuso (karen.pantuso@sd47.bc.ca) for more information.

Grade 8 student, Lotus, wrote and published a novel called "Lagrima's Diner"! Inspired by a dream, this novella is available on Amazon.

"The desert is calling. You must journey across the dunes, across the canyons, across the infinite expanse. You must find the one thing that can save us all. But whatever you do, you can not let them find it. You can not let them find the path of the sun..."

Guided by this mystical prophecy, two friends, a hyena and a maned wolf, embark on a sweeping adventure to save the world!
