Monday, February 15 - NO SCHOOL - President's Day

Our Spring Parent Teacher Conferences will be held the week of February 8-12. Teachers will be reaching out to schedule these conferences via Zoom or phone call. Please schedule a time to check in on how your child is progressing.

Picture retakes will be on Thursday, January 28. We will be taking pictures of new students and students that have returned from eLearning as well.

We are very appreciative to our parents who have continued to call the school office and let us know if your child is experiencing symptoms of any kind. We all have to do our part to keep our students safe and we need you to continue to report these things for us in order for us to do that. We realize that getting your child to see a doctor, getting a negative COVID test, or staying home for 10 days is not enjoyable or conducive to working parents, but it is necessary for us to remain open and keep everyone healthy. Thank you for doing your part!

MASKS ARE REQUIRED DAILY - we realize that some students may forget their masks and need a loaner one from the office, but if students are coming to the office daily and expecting us to provide a mask, we will not do that. Those students will be kept in the office and parents will be called to pick them up.

Due to COVID-19, the Lafayette School Corporation has decided not to have Valentine's Day parties or pass out Valentines to classmates this school year in an effort to protect students.

Students in 3rd grade will be taking the IREAD3 during the month of March. Elearning students will need to take this test at the Earhart Elementary School building. We will send more details about this as the date gets closer. Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest on test days.
