A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Chinyere Okafor-Conley for bringing warmth, energy, and excitement to the event. Seeing our students' faces light up as they stuffed, hugged, and named their new buddies was priceless!

Chapel
This week in Chapel, we explored the story of the Prodigal Son, a powerful reminder of forgiveness, grace, and the importance of self-regulation. Just like the son in the story had to learn from his choices, we talked about how we can manage our emotions and actions, even when things donât go our way.
Through discussion and reflection, our students considered how they can practice patience, gratitude, and self-control in their daily livesâwhether at school, at home, or with friends.
We love coming together each week to grow in faith and understanding! Families, weâd love for you to join us for Chapel every Wednesday at 9 AM as we worship, learn, and build a strong community together. See you next week! â¨đ
Learning Spotlights of the Week
Our 2nd and 3rd graders have been hard at work mastering the art of measuring in centimeters! From rulers to teamwork, theyâve been learning how to get precise measurements while helping one another along the way. Itâs been great to see them collaborate, problem-solve, and build confidence in their math skills.
As we can see, measuring is truly a team effortâand these young learners are making great strides together!
Just like Groundhog Day brings the fun of predicting more winter or an early spring, our Kindergarteners bring excitement and curiosity to everything they doâso of course, they had to celebrate in a special way! They enjoyed some delicious Groundhog Day snacks while learning about this quirky tradition and making their own predictions.
Whether the groundhog sees its shadow or not, one thing is certainâKindergarten at BIA is always full of fun, learning, and sweet surprises!
Our PreK-3 scientists have been diving into their science unit, discovering how animals hibernate, migrate, and adapt to survive in different environments. From bears curling up for winter naps to birds flying south for warmth, our little learners explored the amazing ways creatures adjust to the changing seasons.
At BIA, we love hands-on learning, and our PreK-3 students didnât just read about these conceptsâthey experienced them through fun activities, movement, and play! Watching their curiosity spark as they explored the wonders of nature was the best part of all! đťâ¨đŚ
