Attendance Updates & Celebrations!
- THANK YOU, Titans! We saw an increase in per period average attendance last week. GREAT JOB exceeding our goal of 92% per period average attendance! Let's keep it up!!
- Staff can help us stay on track with this goal by not admitting late students to class without an e-hall pass. This system ensures that students' attendance is updated from being marked absent to being marked tardy when our attendance team pulls e-hall pass reports and updates attendance.
- Families can help us stay on track with our goal by getting students to school on time and scheduling appointments outside of school hours whenever possible. Please call us to share updated information about student attendance as needed at 719-328-6900
Titans Volleyball Won both Matches in the D11 Classic Volleyball Tournament!
The Swigert team and their families celebrated with victory cupcakes after back-to-back wins against Mann and Russell. Thank you to Nellie's Cupcakes for donating the delicious treats!

Gifted & Talented Identification Process at Jack Swigert Middle School
Gifted and Talented Education in D11 values providing equitable opportunities and access for students to develop their strengths. At the middle school level, students will have the opportunity to be assessed in the area of creativity at Swigert. If your student is particularly creative and loves to think in innovative ways, please consider permitting your child to participate in this extended testing to recognize exceptional creative ability. It is not possible to study for this type of test. Parent(s)/Guardian(s), however, can help their children prepare by assuring a good night’s sleep and adequate breakfast. Please contact the Gifted Resource Teacher (GRT), Jessica Trovik at jessica.trovik@d11.org if your student wants to be assessed for exceptional creative abilities and to give permission for them to be tested.
