MMS Career Fair
We are excited to invite you to be a part of our upcoming Career Fair to help students explore various career paths and gain valuable insights into the world of work.
To make this event a success, we are seeking parents, community members, and friends of Moore Middle School to volunteer as presenters. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your career experiences and inspire the next generation.
Date: Friday, March 14, 2025
Time: 9:15 AM – 11:45 AM
Format: Four 30-minute rotations with student groups
Arrival Time: 8:30 AM

"Design Your World" STEM Conference for Middle School Girls
The Society of Women Engineers Dallas Section would like to invite your student to the 2025 Design Your World conference, an exciting and hands-on STEM event that offers middle school girls in the Dallas area the opportunity to explore the world of engineering.
Since its launch in 2012, Design Your World has become an award-winning conference series dedicated to inspiring and empowering the next generation of female engineers. During the event, students will engage in a half-day of interactive STEM activities, tour the labs at our host, Collin Community College, meet engineers from various disciplines, and gain valuable insight into potential career paths in engineering and technology.
This event is open to all middle school girls in the Dallas area, and we hope to reach as many students as possible to give them the chance to experience the excitement of STEM firsthand.

Date of Event: Saturday, March 1, 2025
Check in Begins at 9AM
Event Ends by 3:30 PM
Location: Collin College Technical Campus located in Allen
Registration Link: https://designyourworld.dallaswe.org/register/ (Registration closes/extended to Feb 21)
An information session for parents will be presented by Collin Community College at 2:00PM.
West Point Summer STEM Camps
For students in 6th through 9th grade, West Point will host its annual Summer STEM Workshops. During these workshops, students will explore the Academy grounds, experience cadet life, and participate in a variety of hands-on STEM activities. Workshop topics include human physiology, fuel cell cars, propellants, robotics, cantilevers, soldering circuits, fish biodiversity, water chemistry, meteorology, egg drop engineering, data analytics, and more.
The workshops are scheduled as follows:
- June 2–6 for 6th-7th graders
- June 9–13 for 8th-9th graders
Applications for Summer STEM are open now through February 28, 2025.
