A few updates to share...
Wanted to remind everyone that Ms. Sander, our AP for the last eight years, has started her next chapter...retirement. With that, Ms. Carrizo has been promoted to the AP role; she will be training Ms. Hackworth (Carberry) in the Special Programs' Coordinator role. Looking forward to a BRIGHT year ahead as we continue to GAZE towards EXCELLENCE!
Business Day will be on 7/25, new date, please update your calendars. You may earn one hour per family by attending. We will have nine stations set up to travel around and gather information; see flyer below.
The National School Lunch Program is now accepting applications for our 2025-2026 year. ALL families are encouraged to apply to receive additional breakfast/lunch meals for free or at a reduced rate, if you meet the guidelines. See link below to apply NOW!
Incoming Kinder and Year 2 (7th Graders) will need their updated immunization forms in order to start school by 8/11. Please check the IMMUNIZATION section of our website! https://cc.franklin-academy.org/school-info
Will your child (grades 5th-8th) be participating in any of our sports this school year? If so, please make sure to complete the two forms below; you can drop them off at Business Day or the first week of school. There are five weeks before school starts to get those physical checks completed.

FortifyFL - See something, say something
FortifyFL is a suspicious activity reporting tool that allows students to instantly relay information to appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials.
QUICK AND EASY SAFETY TIP SUBMISSION
By accessing FortifyFL, students can provide a description of the threat, share pics, and videos and optionally submit their contact information. Submissions can be anonymous or non-anonymous. Submitting a tip is quick and easy using our mobile app or website.
All Franklin Academy students have access to FortifyFL via their Clever portal dashboard.
