1st Day Reminders
Parent Newsletter: August 14, 2023
We had a blast welcoming your children back from their long summer break and appreciate all your support in helping your child as they get to know their new teacher and classmates. With the exception of a few dismissal hiccups, we had an exceptional 1st day and can't wait to continue this journey with your children.
In order to promote student independence, tomorrow, all students will walk to class independently. Staff will be available to walk children to their classrooms. Parents may escort their children through the front doors up to the hugs and kisses station where campus staff will be available to escort your child to their classroom.
Arrival
During morning drop off, please be mindful of the speed limit in the parking lot.
We ask all parents and students use the cross walks, and adhere to the directions of all staff members on duty. If you choose to use valet drop off, use the right lane which pulls in closest to the school, please be patient with students and staff members as they ensure students get out safely from their vehicles. For the safety of your child, drop off is not permitted in the left lane. We ask that all parents abide by all traffic rules while on campus. There is no parking in any of the fire lanes.
Dismissal
Parent Pick up at the Basketball Court:
- Make a line for each grade level.
- one parent will be helped at a time.
- Be ready to show a valid ID 100% of the time.
- No ID? You will be asked to go to the office to verify your identify. Do not take your child without verification.
In an effort to avoid confusion, all changes in transportation must be communicated in writing.
