Dear Dolland Families,

As we continue through this school year, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community. Together, we are creating an environment where our students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

We’ve had some exciting events and achievements recently, and I’m proud to see the growth of our students, both inside and outside the classroom. From our dedicated teachers to the hard-working students, we are all contributing to making this school year a success.

I’d like to remind everyone of some important upcoming dates and events, including SBAC TESTING, and Spring Break. Please continue to check our website and stay connected through our newsletters to stay up to date on everything happening at school.

Queridas familias de Dolland,

A medida que avanza este año escolar, quiero expresar mi gratitud por su continuo apoyo y participación en nuestra comunidad escolar. Juntos, estamos creando un entorno donde nuestros estudiantes pueden prosperar académica, social y emocionalmente.

Recientemente hemos tenido eventos y logros emocionantes, y me enorgullece ver el crecimiento de nuestros estudiantes, tanto dentro como fuera del aula. Desde nuestros dedicados maestros hasta los estudiantes que se esfuerzan, todos estamos contribuyendo a que este año escolar sea un éxito.

Our Student of the Month is Aiden M. Aiden has demonstrates exceptional qualities in both academic achievement and personal character. He has consistently shown dedication to his learning, always exhibits a positive attitude, and a willingness to help others both at school and on the field. His passion for football truly brings him to life, and he lights up when talking about sports.

Beyond his athletic accomplishments, he is a gentle, kind, and caring peer who always models patience and perseverance. His hard work and determination are an inspiration to those around him, making him a shining star in both academics and extracurricular activities.

We are proud to recognize him for his commitment to excellence and the positive example he sets within our school community. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor!

Keep up the great work, Aiden—we look forward to seeing all that you will continue to accomplish this school year and beyond!

Nuestro Estudiante del Mes es Aiden M. Aiden ha demostrado cualidades excepcionales tanto en su rendimiento académico como en su carácter personal. Ha demostrado una dedicación constante a su aprendizaje, siempre muestra una actitud positiva y está dispuesto a ayudar a los demás, tanto en la escuela como en el campo. Su pasión por el fútbol americano lo llena de vida y se ilumina al hablar de deportes.

Más allá de sus logros deportivos, es un compañero amable, cariñoso y cariñoso que siempre demuestra paciencia y perseverancia. All money raised will be used for 5th grade events. And boy do we have a lot lined up.

Once we reach our collective goal, all 5th graders will earn a PIZZA party!!! Let’s go full throttle to $500!

The leading class to cross that finish line will receive an extra bonus.

Dear NLMUSD Families,

Starting this year, returning student registration will be completed through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Families will no longer need Snap Codes as in previous years.

We are creating Parent Portal accounts for families who do not already have one, using the email address provided during enrollment. You will receive an email with your login information and instructions before registration opens on April 8, 2025. Please see the attached guide, Parent Portal Returning Registration.pdf , for a quick walkthrough on how to log in and access Returning Student Registration. Additional resources will be available on our website under the Returning Student Enrollment Home page.

Completing the returning student registration is important to:
✔ Ensure your emergency contacts and medical information are accurate.
✔ Review and acknowledge the most current student handbooks and district policies.

In addition to registration, the Parent Portal can be used throughout the school year to check your student’s grades, attendance, and more.

Please watch for your portal login details and contact your school if you need to update your email address. The email will be sent from noreply@nlmusd.k12.ca.us.

PTA would like to honor community members (individuals or organizations) for their service to the Dolland Elementary School community. If you feel someone should be recognized for their outstanding service, please nominate them for a service award! All nominations will be considered. You may only nominate one person. The HSA Selection Committee will select 3 award recipients. Nominations will close April 10. See link below.
