Updates/Reminders

✏️ The drop/add date for ECU courses is January 17th. Leaders who want to drop or add a course need to see Mr. Grant ASAP.

✏️ We are looking for creative freshmen to design our freshmen AVID t-shirt. T-shirt designs should be submitted to Dr. James by January 17th.

✏️ Leaders taking noncohorted ECU courses must complete the textbook form to receive their textbooks in a timely manner. The textbook form is linked to morning announcements.

Upcoming Events

✏️ ECU classes begin on January 13, 25.

✏️ Monday is Rubber Duck Day. PTSO has hidden rubber ducks all around IECHS to celebrate this fun day. Leaders are encouraged to find the ducks, and if they find a duck with a number on the bottom, then they win a prize.

✏️ The National English Honor Society is hosting a canned food drive from January 6th until January 17th to support the ECU Pirate Pantry.

✏️ There will be no Innovation or ECU courses on Monday, January 20th, due to the Martin Luther King Holiday.

✏️ Early start PCVA and NCVPS courses begin on January 6th. Standard spring courses for NCVPS begin on January 21st, and PCVA begins on January 24th. If your leader is taking an online course, please check with them to ensure they know when their course begins.

✏️ The Trailblazer Club will attend a field trip to the ECU REC Center on January 24th. All club members must have their field trip form completed prior to attending the trip.

✏️Senior Awards Night- May 5th at 6:00; JH Rose High School Auditorium

✏️Graduation Practice- May 21 at 3:00 (all graduating seniors and junior marshals must attend)

✏️Graduation- May 22 at 5:00; ECU Student Center
