Think Through Math - Create your own pathways according to your Data
Lesson 14-1 Points, Lines, and Planes
Students identify points, lines, line segments, rays, angles, and perpendicular and parallel lines. TEKS 4.6 *SS
Lesson 14-2 LIne Segments, Rays, and Angles
TEKS 4.6 *SS see above
Lesson 14-3 Understanding Angles and Unit Angles
Students illustrate the measure of an angle as the part of a circle whose center is at the vertex of the angle that is "cut out" by the rays of the angles. Angle measures are limited to whole numbers. TEKS *4.7A
Types of Angles Song For Kids: NUMBEROCK Sings With Moosi the Moose
Lesson 14-4 Measuring with Unit Angles
The student solve problems involving angles less than or equal to 180 degrees. TEKS 4.7
Lesson 14-5 Measuring Angles
The students will determine the approximate measures of angles in degrees to the nearest whole number using a protractor. TEKS 4.7C *RS
Lesson 14-6 Adding and Subtracting Angle Measures
The students determine the measure of an unkown angle formed by two non-overlapping adjacent angles given one or both angle measures. TEKS 4.7E *SS
Identifying Traingles Game
Lesson 14-7 Triangles
The students apply knowledge of right angles to identify acute, right, and obtuse triangles. TEKS 4.6C *SS
Lesson 14-8 Quadrilaterals
The Students classify two-dimensional figures based on the presence or absence of parallel or perpendicular lines or the presence or absence of angles of a specified size. TEKS 4.6D *RS
Lesson 14-9 Line Symmetry
The students identify and draw one or more lines of symmetry, if they exist, for a two-dimensional figure.
TEKS 4.6B *SS
Lesson 14-10 Problem Solving: Use Reasoning
