Mission Statement
Josefa L. Sambrano Elementary School will go beyond excellence by providing a nurturing learning environment that provides a solid foundation and instills a desire to be lifelong learners both academically and socially. In all that we do and all that we teach, we will provide education at an exemplary level.

Vision Statement
Our students will be academically and socially developed citizens who are evolving in an innovative curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all students and equips them to be positive and contributing members of society.

Dismissal Bell - 4:05 PM

Beginning this second Nine Weeks, if a student has 4 tardy arrivals or early pick-ups, the student may be ineligible for perfect attendance recognition for that 9-week grading period, but could qualify for faithful attendance if they have no absences.

Sambrano Elementary is now using student IDs for riding the bus, lunch, and even the library. Please make sure your child has their ID with them at all times. Replacement IDs have a cost of $5.

12/11 - Mission: Progressing Together Meeting 8:30 & 9:30 AM

12/17 - Parent Christmas Literacy Session @ Sambrano 2 PM

12/18 - Christmas Around the World @ Sambrano 4:45-5:45 PM

12/19 - Early Release and the last day of the 2nd Nine Weeks

12/20-1/7 - Winter Holiday Break (students return 1/8/25)

Tue. 12/17 - Holiday Cheer: wear a holiday shirt and accessories or holiday colors.

Wed. 12/18 - Grinch Day: wear your Whoville best, Whoville hair, or Grinch green.

Thu. 12/19 - Long Winter's Nap: wear your favorite holiday pajamas.
