New Announcements
Monday, March 3 - Conferencing Day - No in person classes
Monday, March 3 is a Conferencing Day. There are no in-person OCEAN classes to allow families to meet with teachers for February conferences.
Connectivity Summit March 7th for all High School Students 11:15am-2:30pm
All OCEAN High School students are encouraged to attend the county wide Connectivity Summit on Friday March 7. We are providing bus transportation to and from OCEAN to the Connectivity Summit being held at Chimmicum High School. Sign up and give a permission slip to Michelle, Kyle, or MB. Students with a permission slip can also meet at Chimicum High School at 12pm.
- Arrive at OCEAN 11:15, bus leaves at 11:30
- Bus leaves Chimacum High School 2:00
- Arrive back at OCEAN 2:30
For all students that attend and complete the paperwork they will get one assignment credit in each class:

More about the Connectivity Summit:
Youth Opportunities Fair- includes support services, enrichment activities, community service/ volunteering, jobs (summer, part-time, and full-time), after-school activities, summer activities, and education/ training.
Youth Voice Symposium - "Unfiltered: Young Voices, Real Experiences"
Unfiltered offers an honest glimpse into the experience of being young in Jefferson County. It
includes an inspiring panel and interactive discussion featuring young adults from Jefferson
County who dare to get real about what it takes to make a life and living in Jefferson County and
their experiences growing up here.
2025-2026 West Sound Tech Enrollment - Opens March 3
West Sound Tech is a Skills Center Program for students in grades 11 & 12.

School Text Messages Out of Service
The text messaging service that school staff use to communicate with students and families is not currently working. We apologize if you sent us a text recently and we did not receive it. Out IT department is working with our provider to repair the issue. Please contact staff via voice phone call or email until we notify you service is restored.

High School Students: Seal of Biliteracy and Language Credit Competency Testing
Port Townsend School District is offering the Seal of Biliteracy and Language Credit Competency Testing. Through the test, students can earn one, two, three, or four credits in the student's chosen language. It will be administered at the PTHS Library on March 25th, 8:30am-11:30am. If you have questions about the test or would like to sign up, please contact our School Counselor, Emily Eldridge at eeldridge@ptschools.org
