Manufacturing for Tomorrow Bootcamp
This year, Lake Orion High School Engineering classes have been fortunate enough to visit LIFT as part of their Career Awareness opportunities in STEM. Each time our students attended they enjoyed their hands on experience and learned first-hand about the industry.
Michigan Tech and LIFT are excited to announce a new program for high school students in Detroit this summer! Running July 8-11, 2024, Manufacturing for Tomorrow provides an intensive, hands-on exploration of several key areas of manufacturing, including robotics, CNC programming, CAD design, welding, and more. Students will meet and learn from industry leaders and visit several local facilities during the week. The program takes place from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day and includes lunch; the program is completely free thanks to our generous sponsors.
Interested students should apply here; priority given to students who apply by June 17, 2024. Please see the attached flyer and share with your networks. Thank you!
Please direct questions regarding this program to outreach@mtu.edu
