A Message from Mrs. Haley
We are off to a great start at Longmont Estates Elementary! The students are having a good time getting to know their new teachers and classmates. It is fun to watch new friendships forming. I am so proud of how hard our teachers and students are working. Longmont Estates is truly a special place!
I believe in strong partnerships between school and our parent community. To support this belief, we will be sending home bi-weekly school newsletters via email. Please make sure to keep your email address up-to-date so you do not miss out on the important happenings at LEE.
As always, please let me know how I can help support you and your children as they grow and learn here at Longmont Estates Elementary.

Greetings from the Health Office!
Immunizations are due! This year the Parent Portal App has a great resource to help you stay up to date with your student's immunizations. If you open your child's entry, under the drop-down menu in the upper left corner click More > Health > Immunizations you'll see what they are compliant with or in need of. If you need to file a waiver, or are in need of resources to get an appointment for immunizations, for your student please contact the Health Office.
If you are a Preschool parent, please be sure to get your child's General Health Appraisal Form in as soon as possible.
Does your student have accidents at school? If so, please be sure to send a change of clothing in their backpack daily. The Health Office has very limited options when it comes to spare clothing for kiddos who need a change, and having their own clothing helps them feel less conspicuous when accidents occur.
Trip Tracker
Trip Tracker is kicking off another year soon! Check out our website for information about this multimodal program. To stay up to date on any contests or the program in general, be sure to sign up for updates by accessing the top QR Code! Or you can view our Trip Tracker Local Business Partnership Link to gauge where you can spend the Trip Tracker Bucks. Be healthy, enjoy green trips to school & support local!
100 Mile Club
We're looking for a dedicated individual to lead our 100 Mile Club this year! The role involves organizing and encouraging our students as they work towards their goal of running or walking 100 miles throughout the school year. It's a great way to promote fitness, build community spirit, and make a positive impact on our students' health and well-being.
If you're passionate about promoting an active lifestyle and would like to help inspire our students, please click here to apply.
Thank you for helping us make this year a great success!

Late Start
The first Wednesday of each month, excluding October and January, is a District Late Start Day. This allows for teachers to meet for Professional Development and collaboration. School begins 2 1/2 hours later than normal. Buses run 2 1/2 hours later than their morning pick up time.
Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, is a District Late Start day. Students may arrive on campus at 10:45AM. The first bell will ring at 10:50AM and the late bell will ring at 10:55AM. Breakfast will not be served. Preschool will have a normal start to their school day.
Jog-A-Thon T-shirts
Each fall we ask our LEE students and families to help raise money for our PTO. This is our only direct-ask fundraiser, and it goes toward funding the school's PARAs (teacher aides), special events like Fall Festival and Innovation Fair, as well as things like teacher dinners for conference nights, busses for field trips and much, much more!
Each student will receive a t-shirt for this event. Please follow the link below to fill out the form with your child’s shirt size. Please complete this form by FRIDAY, AUGUST 30TH
A packet of information will be coming home soon. In it will be an introduction letter, a fundraising log, and a prize list. Look over the information and start fundraising! All donations are due back at the school on the day of Jog-A-Thon, Friday, Sept 27th, 2024.
This is a super fun, energizing and exciting event for our LEE family, and it allows our students to be physically fit while raising money for our school. #LeeSoars #stvrainsoars
Free and Reduced Meal Applications
All students in St Vrain Valley Schools will have access to free healthy, nutritious school meals beginning in the 2024-25 school year thanks to the Health School Meals for All program approved by Colorado voters.
Please continue to fill out the Free and Reduced Price Lunch form. While meals will be provided for free to all St Vrain students through Healthy School Meals for All, it’s important for us to continue gathering this information to receive full access to available federal funds that support nutritional programs at your school. By providing this information, you will help our district access all available funds to cover the cost of meals, and other nutritional programs for students. Plus, families who fill out the form may qualify to receive discounted school fees, class materials, bus passes, utilities support and more!
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Auditions
Calling all young actors! Auditions for our production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are open to Elementary and Middle School students. Auditions will be held on September 3rd, with show dates on November 14th, 15th, and 16th. For more details, check out the information below. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the magic!
Milk Caps for Moola
Since 2014, over $300,000 has been donated back to participating schools through the Milk Caps for Moola program. Schools are free to spend these funds as they wish: for good behavior rewards, special sports equipment, and field trips. Collect caps from your family or your neighbors.
It's fun and easy to collect milk bottle caps and earn money for our school.
For more information, or to sign up for delivery, visit LongmontDairy.com/caps.
Superintendent Town Hall Meetings
The dates for this year's Town Hall meetings and location information can be found here. These meetings are open forums for Dr. Haddad and other district leaders to listen to our community’s questions and suggestions, share our many successes, and discuss our bold vision for the future.
