Blue Valley students excel, with most scoring 3 or higher on state assessments
Did you know Blue Valley students are achieving at high levels on state assessments? Blue Valley students scoring a 3 or above on state assessments is higher than all other Kansas districts and private school groups with 10,000 or more students.

Plan ahead for inclement weather that could cancel or delay school
When extreme weather conditions exist, the district may cancel school or utilize a two-hour delayed start when temporary adverse weather conditions exist. When possible, inclement weather announcements will be made the day before so staff and families can plan. There will be no announcement if school is in session. The superintendent makes the final decision by 6 a.m.
