MARCH 2025
FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK
Welcome Back, Dear Parents!
We hope you had a wonderful and restful Spring Break! Spring is in the air—birds are singing, the days are getting warmer, and soon we’ll be trading in our cozy layers for lighter outfits. Time is flying, and here we are, stepping into Term 3 already!
March is Nutrition Month, and to celebrate, we’re spreading some healthy joy by offering free fruits and veggies to all students during lunchtime. You may have seen an email about it earlier—it's just one of the many exciting things happening at school! March and April are packed with fun activities, and we can’t wait to enjoy them together.
Wishing you a fantastic March filled with happiness and good health. Thank you for being such a caring, supportive, and trusting school community—we truly appreciate you!
With warmest regards,
Mme Durand

INFO ITEMS AND REMINDERS
DOGS AT MORNING DROP OFF AND AFTERNOON PICK-UP
While we love dogs, we kindly ask that you do not bring them close to the gate during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. Instead, dog owners should stay near the parking lot and bike racks to ensure there is enough space for students—especially those who may be afraid of dogs—to enter and exit the schoolyard comfortably.
Your cooperation is essential and greatly appreciated in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students.
Thank you for your understanding!
REPORT CARDS: Term 2 report cards will be released on Friday, March 14th, on the Mozaik Portal. (Log into Mozaik. Click on the "Results" icon, then click on "Report Cards"). Please take the time to review your child's progress and achievements.
PARENT - TEACHER INTERVIEWS: Parent-teacher interviews will occur on Thursday, March 20th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. These interviews will take place by invitation only. If your child's teacher has invited you to attend, you will receive a separate communication with more details.
NUTRITION MONTH: We are excited to share that we will be celebrating Nutrition Month by offering free fruits and vegetables to all students during lunchtime! While we won’t have a set calendar of what will be offered each week, we will be making mindful purchases based on quality, and price, and ensuring we have enough for all students to enjoy.
LOST AND FOUND
Our Lost and Found is overflowing with winter clothing, including tuques, hats, gloves, and sweaters—all without labels. If your child is missing an item, please take a moment to check the Lost and Found before the end of the month.
Children are always welcome to look for their lost belongings during the school day. Any unclaimed items will be donated to a foundation at the end of the month.
Thank you for your cooperation!

We will reissue the slips at the beginning of April for those that may have needed an adjustment.
March is nutrition month many healthy initiatives will be happening during this period in the SEED and lunch program. During the lunch program on select dates TBD we will be distributing fruits and vegetables to the students, like apples, bananas, bell peppers, and much more.
March 24th SEED is now open we are celebrating National Chocolate Covered Raisin Day, as well as going bowling. The registration forms have been sent out and the deadline is March17th,
If you choose the “will not participate in activity” option, your child/ren will then participate in educator-led activities that align with the school’s educational plan. Students have access to all the SEED spaces, equipment, and materials.
