Get ready for Homecoming Week with these fun Middle School Spirit Days!
- Monday, Sept 16: Pajama Day
- Tuesday, Sept 17: Twin Tuesday
- Wednesday, Sept 18: Jersey Day
- Thursday, Sept 19: Hat Day
- Friday, Sept 20: Red Hawk Day (Wear your Red Hawk spirit gear!)
Encourage your student to show their school pride and participate in the fun!
A fire drill was conducted at the Middle School on Thursday, September 12. Please take a moment to discuss the importance of these drills and overall safety with your student.
In the event of a real emergency, the school will use our email and text messaging system to communicate with parents. (Learn more about updating your contact information.) During an active emergency, we ask that you refrain from calling the school or sharing information on social media, as this allows us to work more effectively with authorities.
Fitness Palooza has kicked off, and we need your help! We're raising funds to support student activities, school culture, spirit wear, and unique extracurricular experiences. All donations are due by September 20!
As students collect donations, they can earn fun prizes, and the top classroom in each grade level will win an ice cream or pizza party!

We’re excited to welcome River James, our newest addition to the CSPS team! River is a certified therapy dog, a Golden Retriever trained through the AKC Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) program, and will be working with me to provide comfort and support to students.
If you do not feel comfortable with your student interacting with River, please complete the Opt-Out form below and return it to the main office by next week Friday, Sept 20. Be sure to discuss this with your child before submitting the form to opt-out.
If you are comfortable with your student interacting with River, no action is needed. By not returning the form, you are giving consent for your student to interact with River under my supervision.

- 7th Grade Volleyball vs. Sparta (Home)
- 8th Grade Volleyball vs Sparta (Away)
- B teams play at 4 p.m./A teams play at 5 p.m.
Saturday, October 12 – Game Time TBA
Bring your family and join us for an action-packed day of football as the WMU Broncos face off against the Akron Zips! Feel the excitement of game day, cheer with the crowd, and enjoy the electric atmosphere at Waldo Stadium. It's the perfect day of fun and football for all ages!
