Trick - Or - Treat Lane a Success!
🎃 Trick-or-Treat Lane & Fall Festival Success! 🍂
We’re thrilled to share that our Trick-or-Treat Lane and Fall Festival were an incredible success! A huge thank you goes to our amazing community liaison for organizing the decorating of our hallways and candy collection! We also want to express our gratitude to the wonderful parents who went all out decorating our hallways, creating a magical experience for our students. And to our dedicated teachers and front office staff, thank you for spending the day with us, passing out candy, and celebrating with our kiddos in their festive costumes.
The evening ended with our fantastic Fall Festival, hosted by our incredible SPTSO! It was heartwarming to see our families come together for an evening of fun, laughter, and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make these moments special. We truly appreciate each of you! 🍁
Attendance
We’re aiming high to reach our goal of 98% attendance each week, and we need your help to make it happen! Every day your child is in school, they’re building on their academics and connecting with friends, gaining valuable learning experiences and social growth. When they’re absent, they miss out on those important moments.
Let’s work together to keep our students on track! Your support in prioritizing daily attendance and keeping your child in school all day helps us create a stronger, more connected learning community for everyone. Thank you for being such a vital part of our school’s success!
Huge shout out for Ms. Virgen 5th, Ochoa 6th and Valerie Garza's classes for reaching 100% attendance last week. Keep it up students!!!
DPAs THIS WEEK!
📊 Data Point Assessments This Week! 📊
This week, our students will be taking Data Point Assessments (DPAs), which allow us to see how they are doing up to this point and how much they’ve learned so far. These assessments give us valuable insights into their progress and help us tailor instruction to meet each child’s needs.
To make the most of this important week, please ensure your child is in school every day and stays through the entire day. Each day of attendance helps us maximize learning and instruction. Thank you for your continued support in helping our students succeed!
Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week starts tomorrow!! To celebrate, we will have special dress-up days throughout the week. Please take a moment to review the attached flyer for details.
In addition to the dress-up days, our counselors have planned meaningful activities to promote the importance of making healthy and safe choices. We will be encouraging our students to think about positive decision-making throughout the week.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us create a fun and educational experience for our students!

Costume Rules 👺
🎃 Keep it Spooky, Not Scary: Try to avoid costumes with violent or bloody images. It's okay to look "spooky," but nothing too gruesome.
👁️ Masks: Masks that cover the eyes and face will be allowed for our character parade, as long as your child can see clearly, but will have to be removed during class. Remember, learning is still happening!
🧥 Safe Costumes: Make sure your child’s costume doesn’t have anything hanging below the ankles to avoid tripping or getting things caught.
🎒 Easy-to-Carry Props: If your child has props, they should be easy to manage, especially if they take the bus.
🚫 No Weapons: Please don’t include any toy weapons in the costume.
🏃 PE-Friendly Costumes: If your child has Physical Education on the 31st, pick a costume that’s safe and easy to move in.
ALERT: 🚫
NO PEANUT OR NUT CANDY/COOKIES OR PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND, PLEASE!
