A Note from Lisa
Hello CTE Friends!
2021 is quickly coming to a close, but there are wonderful holiday celebrations to help us ring in this final month of a very busy year. Be sure to take in a school concert, wander your decorated buildings, indulge in some special treats, or simply spread a little extra kindness this month!
As you make your lists and check them twice, be sure coding is included. December has us winding down the first semester, be sure to double-check your second-semester details in your student information system. You want to have all those rosters correct, service IDs accurate, and appropriate funding turned on. This is not the time for students to decide an extra off period is better than finishing those CTE courses they began! Remind those seniors; the colleges really do look at their final semester on transcripts.
With time short and activities galore on your calendars, we chose not to have a CTE Leadership meeting in December. However, be sure to join us for our Coffee & Conversation Zoom on December 16th for some CTE leadership peer networking. We will meet in person again on January 27th.
May all of you have the opportunity to rest, relax and enjoy what recharges your batteries this winter break. I hope this holiday season provides you with all the blessings you deserve!
Best regards,
Lisa
Please note that ESC Region 11 will be closed from December 20-31, 2021.
