Welcome Back, Bloomingdale Bears!
I hope this letter finds you enjoying a safe and joyful summer break! May your days be filled with endless fun, sunshine, and unforgettable memories spent with those you love.
Before you know it, August 3, 2023, will be upon us, and we couldn't be more thrilled to welcome back our returning bears while extending a warm embrace to our new friends joining the Bloomingdale Bear family. This year, our theme is "Bears Under Construction," reflecting both our physical surroundings and the intellectual growth of our students. As we temporarily operate from the New Hampstead K8 facility while our new, state-of-the-art replacement campus takes shape, we are busy building the foundations of literacy and numeracy, ensuring our students are equipped for middle school and beyond. Our ultimate aim is to prepare them for the world, focusing on the 4 E's: Enrollment, Employment, Enlistment, and Entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, we are excited to announce the expansion of our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) program under the overarching concept of energy. By exploring this global theme, we will empower our young scholars to become the critical thinkers and problem solvers of tomorrow.
