In this ELA class, we focus on a respectful classroom established to build a foundation for excellence in literacy through academic, behavioral, and social success for young scholars to become college and career ready.

Students will read and analyze a variety of literary and informational texts, as well as read across the curriculum using the stages of the writing process to write clear and coherent ideas.

Here are a few IMPORTANT updates for my class.

• ATTENDANCE IS IMPORTANT: Please be reminded that students MUST participate in class.
• Please pay attention to the Semester Assignment Trackers & PLPS to ensure you can keep up with your scholars work
• I Ready- Please speak with your child about the importance of completing their I Ready assignments. Students should complete 60 minutes in Math and Reading weekly with 2

• Please check infinite camps to stay on top of your students grades and attendance
• Please remain in close communication with your students teachers. Students should earn a grade for each week
• Please be sure your scholars have all necessary supplies including sanitation items (personal wipes, hand sanitizer, extra mask)
• FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED
