2 Weeks to the End of Tri 2
4 Important Things to Know at MSE
With two weeks remaining in the trimester this is an important time to review with your child their academic progress. Our primary goal is for students to learn the content that is taught within their classes. Most missing assignments within current units of study are accepted by teachers for credit. Please review any missing assignments with your child and have them complete them and turn in as soon as possible.
#2. No School for Students - March 1st
March 1st is a teacher inservice day. Teachers will be utilizing the day to grade student work, turn in trimester grades, and prepare for the third trimester of the school year. Therefore, students will not be in session on this day.
#3. Trimester 3 Preparation
Please take the opportunity to review your child's schedule for the third trimester. Students will be rotating to their third and final ALB class this trimester. A reminder that both Band and Choir classes are year-long classes. No changes will be made at this time of the school year. Thank you for your active involvement in our music program and for honoring your commitment.
#4. New Alerts for Tardies Tri 3
We've noticed an uptick in student tardiness to class. It's crucial for students to grasp the significance of punctuality and accountability. However, we've realized that unless parents actively seek out this information, they may not be aware of the issue. Thus, starting in our third trimester, we'll be sending text messages whenever your child's attendance changes for the day, whether they're tardy, truant, or absent. We appreciate you taking the time to review these alerts in ParentVue, discussing them with your child, and emphasizing the importance of being on time and present. Your support and partnership mean a lot to us!
