It has been an awesome two weeks with your scholar!! We spent the first few days laying the foundation and building culture!! Our founding faculty members love the relationships we are forging with your student and our excitement is growing daily. As always, it takes two. Thank you all for your patience and understanding while we worked to find an awesome candidate to help your scholars enhance their strengths in literacy. This position has been filled and pending the background check she is scheduled to begin work on Monday, September 9th. Please be on the lookout for her bio and syllabus when she arrives.

Dress Code: Students are only permitted to wear maroon and navy shirts with khaki and black bottoms. JEANS can only be worn on Fridays with a school spirit shirt, uniform polo, or college shirt!

BULLYING/CYBERBULLYING: Parents we are asking that you help in monitoring your student's social media and cell phone messaging while at home. Here at AMS, we have worked hard to create a cell phone free campus. However, most of our issues surrounding conflict are stemming from exchanges on social media or text messaging at home. It takes a village and we need your support on this issue. If you see something, please say something.

Parent Visits/Meetings: Please email AP Clark or your child's teacher when you wish to speak with us. I know we are all working or have other obligations but our number one duty is student safety, supervision, and instruction. Time with you during the instructional day is time away from your scholar. It is imperative that we have eyes on our scholars so that we can provide the best support for them. I will have rolling office hours every Wednesday from 8:30-10:30am & 1:00pm-3:00pm.
