Reading-Fleming Intermediate School celebrated another group of students who were selected as Rocky’s Rockstars! Each student earned a certificate to recognize them for demonstrating excellence in community, character and learning. All Rockstars earned a sticker for the outside of their locker to honor them and to encourage others to earn a rockstar recognition too. Hip hip hooray, Huskies!

Congratulations to the J.P. Case Field Hockey Team. They hosted a "PINK OUT" game on Thursday, October 17. The Tigers were victorious on and off the field. They raised and donated $130 to Evolve Pink, a local non-profit organization here in Flemington. Great Job, Tigers!

Robert Hunter School welcomed a special guest last week. Michele Menditto, Health Educator from Hunterdon County Public Health, visited students and provided a proper handwashing lesson to first graders. With cold and flu season upon us, it's important to remind everyone of the importance of proper handwashing. Click this link to view the NJ Department of Health's tips for handwashing.

The PTO at Francis A. Desmares School hosted a fabulous Fall Dance! These Dolphins struck a pose during the event. They danced the night away to all their favorite songs, maybe even a few Taylor Swift tunes too!

Students at Reading-Fleming Intermediate School proudly shared their Book Club projects with their classmates. They worked hard on their presentations, were eager and active listeners and applauded each other's efforts. Way to go, Huskies!

These Kindergarteners enjoyed their Thanksgiving Celebration at Copper Hill School, which included a traditional feast and Thanksgiving-themed crowns.

Preschool friends are enjoying making and decorating yummy pretend treats in the bakery, one of the learning centers in the preschool classroom grocery store.

FRSD is a regional, pre-K-8 district serving the children, parents and residents of Flemington Borough and Raritan Township. Our 3,300 students and 600+ certified teachers and support staff are housed in six buildings: four elementary schools (preK-4), an intermediate school (5-6), and a middle school (7-8). The district expanded preschool to more children ages 3 and 4 in January 2024.
