Live Oaks annual "Favorite Affiliate School Teacher Appreciation Luncheon" was a huge success. Culinary students made an amazing buffet meal, then English students read personal letters to the affiliate school teacher who has made an impact on their lives. Goshen High School is thrilled to announce our participation and success in the Manie Musicale, an annual bracket-style competition celebrating the French language through music. This exciting event, reminiscent of March Madness basketball in the United States, engages students and teachers from around the world in predicting the most popular francophone songs.

This year marked an incredible turnout with 6,210 schools from 37 countries participating, totaling 675,679 students globally! It's a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn French while connecting and competing with peers from diverse cultural backgrounds.

In addition to the main song contest, participants were invited to engage in related contests, including lyrics training, dance, and art. These contests were categorized by age group and song bracket, providing multiple avenues for creativity and expression.

We are particularly proud to congratulate Goshen High School freshman, Annaliece Hancher, for her outstanding achievement! Annaliece entered a piece titled "Je n'as pas envie de me réveiller" ("I don't want to wake up"), inspired by the song "Rêver Éveillé." Her exceptional work earned her the first-place prize in her age group, and she will receive a Manie Musicale t-shirt of her choice as her reward.

• GHS Football: We will be having a Parent/Player Information Night for high school football on Tuesday, April 30th to discuss the 2024 season. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Goshen High School Auditeria.

• Random Acts of Kindness: RAK meeting Tuesday, April 23 at 2:30pm in Mr Siefert’s room. We will be preparing care packages for Goshen graduates currently serving in the military. RAK Bake Sale- see Mr Siefert to sign up for the bake sale during the student performance on Friday morning April 26.
