Social Venture Network
Thursday 5th March 2015, 7pm
The Venture Network is a weekly pitch slam in IE Business School. Every quarter IE Businses School organizes a vertical Venture Network focused on Social Entrepreneurship. Next Thursday we are hosting the first one of 2015. The Venture Network is unique in that it is a very informal gathering where startups can pitch and meet investors over beers and focus on what’s important; building relationships. The Venture Network is a great way to perfect your pitch, get feedback on your product, and meet the local startup community.
The Venture Network´s panel of startup experts for our Social Entrepreneurship Venture Network include:
- Francisco Soler, Creas
- Lara Viada, Vivergy
- Cristina Álvarez, UnLtd Spain
- José Martín Cabiedes, Business Angel
- Rachida Justo, IE Business School Faculty
The startups that will present their project in 7 minutes will be:

FamilyApp: Familyapp, the discounts and sales web that helps you to donate. Familyapp is the first social e-commerce where the companies donate to NGOs a percentage on sales, and offer discounts to the buyers. It's a fundraiser for NGOs, improves the CSR of the companies, increases their number of customers and allows buyers to save money
UFeed: Ufeed is a platform where users push brands to donate to the showcased food-aid projects. Instead of paying , users help viralize the message about the donation. The donation is unlocked with a Tweet or Share. The shared post includes an incentive to repost it further since brands donate according to the message's reach (for every Follower and Friend reached).
