This summer, the Summer Food Service Program will provide free breakfast and lunch to students ages 1 through 18. These meals will be provided on weekdays from May 23rd to 24th and May 28th to July 3rd (No meals will be served on Memorial Day, May 27th) at York Elementary School. Breakfast is from 7:45-8:30 AM. Lunch is from 11:45-12:30 PM. Adults are welcome to join for both breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is $3.00 and lunch is $5.25 for adults. Feel free to join us throughout the summer!

The Bus Barn has a lost and found as well. Please consider checking because they will be donated at the end of the year too.

On Monday, May 13, we will honor this year's 5th-grade class at the York High School Theater. The ceremony begins at 7:00 pm. 5th grade students should arrive at 6:45.

Congratulations 5th Graders--- go do great things at York Middle School!

All students currently signed up for bussing for the 2023/24 school year, will automatically be signed up for bussing for the 2024/25 school year on the same route, bus, and stop. If students are moving to a different address or not riding next year, please get in touch with the bus barn at (402) 362-1988.

A message from Mrs. Burger

We are busy planning for next school year! A few updates for families:

• We will have five sections of kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade next year, with four sections of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.

• We will welcome four new teachers to our staff:

• Mr. Adam Kreifels, Kindergarten

• Ms. MacKenzie Miller, 2nd Grade

• Mrs. Tyler Hinton, Art

• Ms. Katie Kopetzky, Special Education

• The first day of school is on Wednesday, August 14th

We have had a great year at Y.E.S this year! I have watched students grow, learn, build relationships, and have a great year. I have loved every minute as my first year as principal, and I am excited for year two!
