THE STRENGTH OF THE WOLF IS ITS PACK
March 22, 2024
Dear Wasco Families,
HIGHLIGHT REEL!
We are thrilled to share some highlights from this week at Wasco Elementary School.
Firstly, our music department has been actively engaging students in the joy of music. The orchestra practice challenge has been a resounding success, encouraging our young musicians to practice diligently and showcase their talents. It was a joy to watch them celebrate their dedication to practice.
Also, our third grade students and our music teacher Miss Ashley Zima produced and performed a program that celebrated cultural diversity through music and dance. They have been learning about various geographical regions and their cultural contributions, which has not only broadened their understanding of the world. The performances, complete with speaking parts, dance numbers, and songs, were nothing short of spectacular. It's been heartwarming to see our students take pride in their accomplishments as both classmates and cultural citizens.
On a lighter note, we had the pleasure of celebrating our beloved custodian's birthday this week. After school, staff gathered to shower her with gifts, sing, and enjoy some delicious cake together. It was a wonderful opportunity to show our appreciation for her hard work and dedication to keeping our school clean and safe.
We are incredibly proud to be part of the Wasco learning community, where such events not only enrich our students' education but also strengthen our bonds as a school family. Thank you for your continued support in making these moments possible.
Kind Regards,
Principal Brennan

Wasco will have a box in the office!
The District 303 Board has approved boundary maps for elementary, middle, and high schools. Maps are effective with the 2024-2025 school year beginning this fall. The Board's decision completes a process that began last fall to reduce school overcrowding and help to ensure equitable learning experiences across the District. District 303 had contracted with demographer RSP & Associates to create concept maps based on Board-approved guiding principles and community feedback. Please see the parent notice from Superintendent Gordon to learn more and review the approved maps.

One Wednesday per month, students will have an early release and dismissal will occur at 2:10pm. Please refer to the district website.
