Best of Summer Storytelling
Students did great projects to earn their Summer Storytelling Badges! From book reviews, to book talks, to curating collections around exciting themes. Check out the "Best of" gallery. You can still share your work at bit.ly/submitsummerlit. Pictured at right is Zoraya King's book review. Badges are coming soon!
Become a Media Center Ambassador
Do you love the Media Center? Consider becoming a Media Center Ambassador to help promote our space along with opportunities we provide. We often need tour guides, lunch greeters, digital docents, shelvers, and more, and we will train you! bit.ly/SHSMC_MCA Apply by Sept. 1!
Library of Things!

Media Center Hours
We are grateful for our Learning Center leaders, Mayra Espinosa (a.m.), Cecilia Cornelio and Daniel Mora (p.m.) who will be here for you before and after school. Be sure to introduce yourself and let them know how they can help you.
Activate your Academic Pass
Enjoy complimentary access to the New York Times by signing up with your @seq.org account here. Students should be able to activate this once for their entire high school experience. Teachers, you may need to resubscibe each year.
When can I return books?
Books are due when you're done with them! We do not charge fines for overdue books. Still have books from last year? No problem! Return them to the textbook room when it's open, or to the book drop if the Media Center is closed.
