Assalamu alaikum respected parents,
I pray all is well and enjoyed a relaxing Memorial Day Break with your loved ones. On Sunday (5/19) students completed their Final Exams in the AM and enjoyed Field Day in the PM. JazakAllah Khair to all those parents who came to help. Our students had so much fun Ma Shaa Allah.
Alhumdullilah we have approached the end of a successful school year and look forward to celebrating the hard work of all our students at our upcoming 2024 8th Grade Graduation & Awards Distribution Ceremony on this Sunday, June 2nd in sha Allah from 10:00 - 1:00 PM in the IFN Banquet Hall. Please note that Final Report Cards for all students will be available online in your Sunweb Parent Portal. This is in line with IFN Go Green policy to save trees. Our 8th grade graduates and any students receiving awards need to come at 9:30 sharp. Tables will be set up in the kitchen foyer area in the basement for students to pick their award certificates, trophies or medals. 8th grade graduates will go to the 7/8th Boys classroom in the basement to get their gowns and hats and get ready for the graduation. I have sent a separate email to all the awardees and 8th graduates who need to arrive by 9:30. If you did not receive a separate email, please plan to be there by 9:50, so we can start the ceremony at 10:00 in sha Allah.
In celebration for graduation and end of the 2023-24 school year, we have also invited Kona Ice Truck to be at IFN Parking Lot tomorrow from 11:45 - 12:45 in sha Allah. (See Flyer below) The Ice Cones range from $3 to $7 and there are lots of flavors to pick from. Please remember to bring cash if your child wants to buy ice cones. 25% of the proceeds from all sales will go to IFN Sunday School.
Books Return: For any students who were not able to return their Text Books (NOT workbooks) on 5/19, can bring it to Sunday School tomorrow and return at the Books Return Table to get a prize from the prize box in shaa Allah.
Pending Fee for 2023-24: For any parents who have questions about fee status and may still need to make any payment, can also do so tomorrow. Br Siraaj Khaja (our interim registrar) will be able to help with this in sha Allah.
Registration for the 2024-25 school year will begin in end of July/ beginning of August. Exact dates and more details will be shared in July, so please check the IFN website, and be on the look out for email to stay informed. MORNING ASSEMBLY: On Sunday (5/19), our last morning assembly was led by our Parent Volunteer, Sr. Asma Fazal who discussed the significance of the Prophets Farewell Sermon and talked about the importance of brotherhood in Islam.
