Greeting!

1. MAP testing has begun! Our students are working hard to show off how smart they are and how much they have grown in reading and math this school year!

2. On Tuesday, 12/12, Willowdale staff will be bell-ringing at Hy-Vee on 180th and Q from 4:30-6:30 p.m.! Come visit us!

3. Then, on Tuesday, 12/12, swing by Don & Millie's! Thanks so much for supporting Willowdale!

4. Our orchestra students did a phenomenal job at their concert at Russell Thursday night! Looking ahead, we have an upcoming concert at Willowdale. On Tuesday, 12/19, we have a band/chorus concert at 9:30, and a chorus-only concert at 7:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:40 p.m.!

5. Have a wonderful weekend with your families!

The MPS Algebra Aptitude Assessment will be given to 5th Graders on January 9th.

While you are driving kids to practices, games or holiday shopping, don't stress about what is for dinner. Stop by Don & Millie's for dinner and let them cook for you. Flyers will be coming home the day of so you don't forget to take it with you. Don & Millie's will donate 20% of their sales during 4-9PM.

The PTO is a great way to meet other parents, find out about PTO sponsored events and volunteer on several event committees. By joining and/or being a volunteer, you are working with other parents and teachers/staff members, to help enrich the educational experience for all students.

Millard North Middle School is performing in elf JR The Musical. You can scan the QR code to purchase tickets. Performances are December 8th and December 9th.

Future Chefs National Challenge will begin. Fill out the the entry form to join the competition and the deadline is January 31st. You can print the entry form (below) and one will be sent home with students. Good Luck!
