Volunteers should arrive by 1:45 PM with their themed and decorated vehicles, ready to distribute candy. Sullivan High School
- 10/31-Deposit due for anyone interested in seeing the Broadway musical, Six, this spring, see Mrs. Hollis!! She is planning an evening trip on March 6! See her ASAP!
- Boys basketball conditioning will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the gym at 5:30 pm.
- Archery practice for high school students will take place on Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the SMS gymnasium.
- SHS students can take advantage of free tutoring from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- 11/8- Final Beta convention payments are due to Mrs. Lighthizer or Mrs. Flath by Fri. 11/08.
- 11/11-Veteran's Day Program at 8:15 AM
- Betas: Check your Remind messages for the link to convention room sign-ups. Academic test, writing contests, and team test information is available in emails for those who are participating in those convention competitions.
- The Sullivan County Health Department has shared updated guidelines on meningitis B vaccinations. The new protocol states that the 2nd dose must now be administered 6 months after the 1st dose, instead of the previous 1-month interval. This change could significantly impact seniors planning to attend colleges that require the Men B vaccine. It is essential for students to receive their 1st dose promptly to ensure they meet enrollment deadlines.
Sullivan Middle School
- 10/24 & 10/25-7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Students must have a physical on file to attend. There is a sign up forms are in the office.
- 10/25-Beta Founder’s Day-Beta members should wear Founder’s Day shirts if they purchased one.
- 10/25-Girls soccer uniforms need to be turned in by this date.11/14 & 11/15-Jr. Beta State Convention
- 11/11-Veterans Day Program at 10:00 AM. Veterans are invited to stay after the program for a light lunch.
- 7th & 8th grade Cheer will have practices every Thursday from 3-4pm starting October 3rd.
- There are Wrestling sign up sheets on the information table for any Middle School student interested in signing up.

10/28-11/1-Scholastic Book Fair. Click this link below for more Book Fair information and E-Wallet sign-ups. E- Wallet is a fast and easy way for students to shop without them having to worry about cash.
- 10/31-Trunk or Treat, 9AM to Noon. To volunteer sign up here. Reminder: Students may wear Halloween costumes to school on this day. Costumes should be appropriate for school and follow dress code guidelines. Face paint and masks are permissible. Mask should only be worn during the “Trunk or Treat” activity and not inside the school building.

11/18-Spell Bowl Competition at 5:30 PM. Spell bowl practices will be each week on Tuesdays after school until 4:10 PM. Plan changes must be made in Pickup Patrol stating students will stay after school for practice.

Big Brother Big Sister Program: This is for students who have previously signed up and been
accepted to the program. For students to be able to stay, parents MUST put this in PickUp Patrol. Students can be picked up at the south entrance (door 23) at 4 PM. Parents are to park, exit their vehicle, and pick students up at the door. If you have any questions, please email Dani Hamilton at dhamilton@swest.k12.in.us. Big Brother Big Sisters Program will meet on the following dates: 11/05, 11/19, 12/03, 12/17, 1/14, 1/28, 2/11, 2/25, 3/11, 3/25, 4/8,4/22.

Homework Helps occurs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students should be picked up at the front entrance at 4:00 PM. Parents should update Pick-Up Patrol if they intend for their child to stay.
