FARMS AND FOOD SOURCES: Who helps us have food to eat and clothes to wear?

Colors- black, gray, pink, white, brown, red, blue, green, orange, purple and yellow

Shapes- circle, square, rectangle, triangle, oval, star, rhombus/diamond, octagon, and heart

Writing - Writing own name; writing CVC words; review touch pull down/ strokes up and down, slant left, slant right, writing letters and numbers

Math -part/whole, bar graphs, counting to 30 or higher

Reading -CVC words; Introduce Zz. Review letters: J, V, G, D, R, E, H, B, M, A, S, T, I, F, N, O, P, C, K, U and L. Review beginning and ending letter sounds.

Science-Sun, moon and stars, foods that come from plants

Social studies- voting; earning income; maps-find USA and Texas

Please make sure your child has an extra pair of clothes (shorts, since it is getting warmer soon) in their backpack for emergencies. Sometimes we don't make it down to the bathroom in time or we spill our lunch on ourselves. Having an extra pair of shorts/pants and underwear in a baggie will keep us from having to call you in the middle of class. We can just change and clean up and get back to learning.

We would love to honor your child on their special day! (We can celebrate on the Friday closest to their b-day) We know it means so much to them to share it with their friends. Here are some things you need to know before this day comes.

Any food treats need to be "store bought". Cupcakes are fine, but the smaller ones are best! Please contact your child's teacher so you can find out how many students are in the class.

Please label all jackets with name or initials. If your child is missing anything, please come look in our lost and found.
